In August 2022 we returned to our roots on Martha’s Vineyard to host IFE’s inaugural Black Education Forum at the Old Whaling Church. The overarching theme for the Forum was “Education Today and Tomorrow,” featuring panels identifying significant challenges in the moment, bright spots, and opportunities to take action.
IFE Quick Conversations puts today’s educational leaders and changemakers in a virtual dialogue for all of us to learn from for free—in 30 minutes or less. Session topics covered Culturally Responsive Education, Recovery and Reopening from interrupted learning, and Learning Entrepreneurship.
In 2020, we hosted monthly virtual events in June, July, and August rather than our traditional summer gathering on Martha’s Vineyard.
